The Panorama is the largest model of New York City made in 1964 featuring 895,000 miniature buildings,the five boroughs, all NYC roads and bridges. A scattering of lights shine on the model representing different buildings, an airplane lands and departs from LaGuardia Airport, and the room lighting changes on a 16 minute day to night cycle for a full day in the city. With the last major update in 1994 and a few additions since then, the new Citi field is on view as well as the once standing Twin Towers.
